Beaconhouse Sri Inai International School offers both Primary and Secondary Cambridge International Examination Programmes. Each programme’s curriculum delivers a broad, balanced, coherent and consistent platform of learning with clear and smooth progression routes designed for the needs of all learners.
At Beaconhouse, assessment is an integral component of each subject’s curriculum. Cambridge International Examinations provide a standard testing structure. Our assessment includes Cambridge Progression Tests, Cambridge Progress Checker and Cambridge Checkpoints. These assessments also enable us to:
- Identify learner strengths and weaknesses of individuals and class groups
- Develop further teaching and learning support using diagnostic feedback
- Provide learners with a statement of achievement for Cambridge Primary Checkpoint at the end of their Primary Curriculum.
- Students will also receive a statement of achievement for Cambridge Secondary 1 Checkpoint at the end of Year 9
Cambridge IGCSE: A two year programme (Year 10 & 11) Assessment takes place at the end of the course. There are range of assessment options, including written, oral, coursework and practical. Grades are benchmark using eight internationally recognized tiers with clear guidelines to explain the level of achievement.
Cambridge assessments inform schools and learners of the depth of understanding and acquisition of specified subject skills. Assessment of specific and transparent educational standards enable the benchmarking of learner achievement on a school, National and International scale.
