It has long been known that there is a strong link between play and learning.

Children are full of natural curiosity and they explore this curiosity through play. When kids are playing, it's the perfect time to learn.

Play leads kids to know how to problem solve, how to make friends, how to express themselves, how to enjoy the world around them, and how to recognize letters and numbers. All of these skills form the foundation of a love of learning.

Play can also be a way of building or strengthening a relationship. They bring their own interpretations of situations, events, experiences, and expectations to their play. We the parents and educators provide children with the support, props, time, and space to develop their learning through play.

And here we are ,the Beaconhouse School System advocates the Play to Learn and Learn to Play philosophy, with the Early Years Curricula which are based upon active forms of learning, on enquiry, on discovery, and on first-hand experiences. The programme is child-centred and activity-oriented.:They are integrated in all areas of development such as cognitive , language and Literacy (trilingual), Mathematics, knowledge and understanding, social and personal, emotional and creative development.
